FDA seized over 70 thousand dollars in herbal tea products, aggressively continuing its of censorship campaign against nutritional supplements

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration, continuing its campaign of censorship and suppression against health promoting natural products NOT PATENTED BY DRUG COMPANIES, seized $71,000 worth of Charantea herbal supplements last week in a U.S. Marshal led raid. The company, Fulllife Natural Options, was accused by the FDA of marketing an “unapproved drug” due to the truthful marketing claims that accurately describe the blood sugar lowering effects of the product’s main ingredient: Bitter Melon fruits.

According to the Food and Drug Administration, there is no such thing as an herb, food or supplement that has any biological activity whatsoever on the human body (other than simply providing calories), and any person who dares to make such a claim is immediately considered to be in violation of the FDA’s authority. Woops. Any substance that has any therapeutic effect whatsoever on the human body is considered by the FDA to be a “drug” and must be approved as such. (These guys have some nerve) Then a lengthy process costing about $800 million and requiring the favor of an agency that practically works for “Big Pharma” is required.

Well, thinking people understand that the FDA assertion is absurd. And most of us clearly understand that EVERYTHING with substance or energy causes biological activity as it interfaces with the human (Or Other) body. Otherwise, breathing air would not prevent suffocation, and drinking pure water wouldn’t hydrate your body. Duhhh. As FDA continues to push this “Intelligence Insulting” nonsense they get that much closer to “Regulating” everything that we touch. The future that they envision has people everywhere paying for essential basics. Water is the next resource in short supply to fight over.

As the US becomes even more “Corporatized” expect to pay a premium for all the essentials. “That’s just good business”. The greatest portion of the “Commons” have already been exploited (And polluted) by corporate greed. And the best friend of our FDA, The drug companies, are a very big part of the problem. They are obscenely rich and politically powerful. They, and the oil companies are the biggest contributors to the best known pre-presidential candidates. Please keep this in mind as you study your possible choices. Let’s not stand for the police-state tactics, as corporations direct the activities of our federal agencies. Medicine too, is part of the “Commons” that belong to everyone, at least when it is not manufactured, but grows by the grace of God, under the sun. A world where we pay even for the rays of the sun and the very air we breathe is heaven for a few corporate leaders. That represents paying customers for life!

Do you think that idea is nuts, you’re right. But it is not beyond the scope of proposals for development in some board rooms right now. Just think about it, and I’ll bet you can come up with a few things that most of us pay for without even questioning it that we never would have considered paying for just a few decades ago.

It’s a trip. Don’t put up with it; let’s make it better for the kids’ future. Don’t put your vote where corporations rule and lies are the native language.

We have a right to control blood sugar with a healing plant instead of or in addition to noxious drugs when appropriate. We have a right to relax-away the stresses of the day with a cup of Chamomile or a squirt of Lemon Balm extract instead of using a purple pill that some Zillion dollar TV drug pusher shoves down our throats via 500 channels 24 hours a day. Don’t let them steal our children’s right to “Stop and Smell the Roses”

The FDA is well known for its censorship efforts against nutritional supplements. Earlier this year, the agency sent threatening letters to 29 cherry growers, warning them to remove all links to scientific literature describing the anti-inflammatory effects of phytonutrients found in cherries. This reference interfered with popular poison drug sales. Merely linking to such studies from a web page, the FDA indicated, instantly transformed cherries into drugs requiring FDA approval. The FDA believes that the dissemination of scientific information about the health benefits of fruits, vegetables and plants simply cannot be tolerated. It can not be tolerated by the “Business Interests” that actually tell the FDA how to run the show.

The more you know about who is actually animating the tricky business of FDA, the more you understand that our most basic freedoms and rights are very much in jeopardy. The kids don’t stand a chance if we don’t take back our freedoms NOW.

A good way to get a clue about the FDA corporate takeover is to see what has been going on with GMOs. It is one gross example of how our trusted leaders and federal agencies are selling the future to fuel their limousine lifestyles, with no regard for others or even regard for their own children.
