How do Soap Nuts work?
Maggie’s Soap Nuts work like a detergent. They contain
saponin, an all-natural surfactant. Conventional detergents are
manufactured, chemical surfactants. Surfactants work by
breaking the surface tension of water so it can more easily
penetrate into fabrics, effectively making water “wetter.” Once
wet, the agitation of your washing machine (or your hands)
shakes the dirt loose from your clothes. Then Soap Nuts’
saponin holds the dirt in suspension in the water (preventing it
from re-depositing on your clothes) until you’ve rinsed it away.

I do my best to highlight issues most critically important with regards to the welfare of everyone, our home-planet and the future where are children would like to live happily, safely and healthfully. Thanks for all of your efforts in these areas. I would suggest that we need to do a bit more than read about important issues… We need to share the information widely and always demand the best. Let us never settle for a low class existence poisoned by corrupt leaders and a world run by unrestricted corporate greed. Find out what is wrong and find ways to fix it. We really need to think for ourselves.
I know, as some readers have pointed out, that I can get a bit serious. Hey, I know people are overwhelmed…
In case you are interested, I am optimistic, I know we can fix it, I know that as a society we can do MUCH better, let’s work together NOW to insure that the likes of Monsanto (now an advertiser on NPR), BP, Tyson, AIG, Cargill (advertiser on NPR), Dole, ADM (advertiser on NPR), GE-Nuclear, Syngenta, Halliburton, KFC, Lockheed Martin, Smithfield Foods, ExxonMobil, Kraft foods, Perdue, Microsoft, Blackwater (Xe), Pfizer, Searle (of the deadly poison Aspartame/NutraSweet fame), and McDonald’s (to name a few of the sickest) will not still be running our world’s governments when are grandchildren are building their lives.
We can (and need to) all vote, every day, with our consumer choices to brighten the future… Support that which is ‘supportive’, reject that which is destructive.
